As Associate Curator for Jewish History at the Western Reserve Historical Society, Sean Martin oversees the Cleveland Jewish Archives, collecting and preserving material related to the Jewish history of northeastern Ohio. He also serves as part of the curatorial staff for the Maltz Museum of Jewish Heritage in Beachwood, Ohio. Martin is the author of A Stitch in Time: The Cleveland Garment Industry, written for Western Reserve Historical Society, and of Jewish Life in Cracow, 1918-1939. He is currently completing another book project, For the Good of the Nation: Institutions for Jewish Children in Independent Poland. He also served as a research consultant to POLIN Museum of the History of Polish Jews in Warsaw.
